Primary consultancy focus

Business consultancy for defence companies

Start with the decision your business needs to make. Introduce your company, explain the present situation and identify where you are looking for outside perspective or structured support.

A useful brief separates the objective from the work required to reach it. It records the business context, constraints, people involved and what a useful outcome would look like.

The exact consulting activities, deliverables and responsibilities are agreed for each engagement. Sector focus does not imply government affiliation, access to contracts or a guaranteed commercial outcome.

Shape the engagement

From a broad question to a working brief.

Understand the situation

Define the business question, the decision ahead and the information available. Identify assumptions and gaps before deciding what work is needed.

Set the boundaries

Agree what is included and excluded, who is responsible, what may be shared and which milestones matter.

Define useful outputs

Discuss the form of any proposed findings, recommendations or next-step plan. Agree how these would be reviewed before work begins.

Planned future service

Security audits

A planned service concept, not an offering currently available to book.

The proposed audit would review an agreed security scope, identify gaps against agreed criteria and set out findings and possible improvements. The areas covered, review method and qualifications required must be confirmed before this service is offered.

Agree what is reviewed

Define the site or business area, relevant policies and procedures, review criteria and information the organisation is authorised to share.

Record gaps and priorities

A proposed output is a documented set of observations, limitations and improvement priorities, tied to the agreed scope.

Plan the follow-through

A proposed follow-up plan would identify action owners and review points. Implementation or repeat assessments would need a separate agreement.

Planned service only. Availability, qualifications and final scope must be confirmed before any engagement. No audit accreditation, certification, regulatory approval, cyber-testing capability or guarantee of compliance is claimed.

From enquiry to an agreed scope

A discovery call is an introduction, not a commitment to an engagement. Before any work starts, the proposed scope should set out what is included, what is excluded, the people involved, timing and commercial terms.

Use the enquiry to describe the business need without sharing confidential project, customer or technical material. Future-service enquiries are expressions of interest, not bookings.
